Our Story
Excalibur Sign Studio was founded in 2015 with a commitment to helping businesses make a strong, professional impression through quality signage.
Following the pandemic, the business transitioned from a traditional local shop to a streamlined model designed to serve clients across a wider geographic area. Today, Excalibur Sign Studio focuses on channel letters, LED and illuminated signs, permit acquisition, and complete design and installation coordination.

My name is Homero Gonzalez, founder of Excalibur Sign Studio. My approach to business was shaped long before I entered the sign industry.
I joined the United States Navy early in life and had the opportunity to travel the world while serving my country. I also came from a strong military family. My father served as an officer in the United States Air Force and was a B-52 Command Pilot, a position that required exceptional leadership, discipline, judgment, and responsibility. From both his example and my own military service, I learned the values that have remained with me throughout my career: discipline, punctuality, personal responsibility, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
After leaving the Navy, I began a career servicing office equipment, starting with conventional copiers and eventually moving into the emerging field of digital color technology. When Canon introduced its early color laser copier systems, I was among the first group of technicians in the country trained to service them. I developed a particular strength in diagnostics and troubleshooting and ultimately became a color laser specialist.
After approximately 18 years in the office equipment industry, my interest in technology led me in a new direction. I built my first computer in 1992 and later established a small business in Florida designing and building custom computer systems for businesses and individuals. Those years reinforced something I had learned throughout my career: the best solutions come from thoroughly understanding the customer’s needs, listening carefully to what they want to accomplish, paying close attention to every detail, and refusing to settle for “good enough.”
In 2015, I founded Excalibur Sign Studio with that same philosophy.
Our goal is to provide our customers with an exceptional experience from beginning to end. We can manage the entire sign process—from concept and design through permitting, fabrication coordination, and final installation—giving our clients a single point of contact and a consistent standard of quality throughout the project.
We don't simply make signs. We help businesses create lasting visual identities. A well-designed sign is often one of the first impressions a company makes, and we believe that impression should reflect the quality and professionalism of the business behind it.
